Now all Google Assistant-Compatible Devices can Recognize the Voice of Users through Voice Match Feature
Everyone can
have the luxury of having their own assistant!! Yes, u read it right. Smart
devices are a part of every household and when they are enabled with Google Assistant,
then things can be done in a better, quicker, and simpler way.
Praveen
Chandran, Google’s Product manager wrote in one of the blog posts that the
company is planning to roll out major updates to Google Assistant-Compatible
Devices. The tech giant is adding voice match along with default speaker
selection feature to all the Google Assistant- Compatible devices.
Voice
Match Feature
Be it your
favorite playlist, reminders, traffic information on your commute, etc. with voice
match feature you can train Google Assistant to recognize your voice and get
your personalized results. Up to 6 people’s voices can be matched to the voice
match feature of a single speaker if the device is shared by other people in
the house. Like this everyone can experience personalized help from Google
Assistant.
Speaker
Selection Feature
The default
speaker selection feature will allow the user to choose the selected option
from several other devices in the house. This can be done by looking up for the
device settings and making it the default speaker.
The
sensitivity and response of Google Assistant hotword “Hey Google” can be looked
up and adjusted in the new setting in the Google Home App. In the coming weeks,
this option will be available on more devices.
